Stay Sharp This Summer – July Knife Sharpening with Maumasi Fire Arts

Your favorite knife deserves better than sawing through summer tomatoes. July is here, and that means it’s time for The Rolling Pin’s monthly knife sharpening service, brought to you by the talented team at Maumasi Fire Arts!

Whether you’re prepping produce for pickling, chopping chives from the garden, or slicing into that sweet sourdough, a freshly sharpened knife makes all the difference. From everyday kitchen staples to specialty blades, including serrated knives—Maumasi Fire Arts brings expert sharpening to your favorite tools.

Here’s how it works: Drop off your knives at The Rolling Pin anytime during business hours before July 27th, and we’ll take care of the rest. Your knives are sharpened off-site by Maumasi himself using professional-grade equipment and thoughtful technique, then returned to the shop, better than new and ready for pickup.
